First Batch of Babaylanes Equality Fellows to be Announced Soon
The interviews for applicants of the Babaylanes Equality Fellowship (BEF) have been conducted over the weekend.
This set of applicants come from diverse fields and backgrounds, and are eager to develop skills for effective advocacy. During the course of the interviews, several have identified gaps in responses to LGBTQI issues within their communities. Some are even in positions to advocate for change. Through the fellowship, we aim to capacitate these emerging LGBTQI leaders and also contribute to the sustainability of LGBTQI advocacy.
The fellowship is expected to commence on March. To better equip our fellows during the training program, they will be receiving an online class kit.
