Finance, Inc.

Finance Inc. is a three-year, multi-country initiative led by APCOM Foundation aimed at engaging financial institutions focused on international development and the private sector in the Asia-Pacific region to better include LGBTQI people’s rights, concerns, and potential. The project is led by APCOM with partners from Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, and the Philippines. Babaylanes, the lead in the Philippines, together with other program partners, was able to engage private sector companies and the Asian Development Bank for SOGIESC inclusion in their policies, practices, processes, and culture.

Through the program, Babaylanes was able to develop a study on the state of LGBTQI Filipinos’ economic inclusion and a module on engaging private companies through diversity, equity, and inclusion trainings and policy development.
